Thank You, Chadwick Boseman (Bonus Episode)

It’s been surreal and tragic losing Chadwick Boseman. It’s been a rough year for everyone, but Black folks have been through so much with the death of Kobe and John Lewis, and on top of it innocent Black men and women murdered at the hands of police brutality. 2020 has been quite the year to say the least. Chadwick played so many iconic Black men, culminating in playing King T’Challa in Black Panther. So I took a day at the beach to reflect on Chadwick’s impact and legacy. I’m wishing his wife and family love and strength during this difficult time. And I just wanted to say “thank you” to Chadwick for being steadfast and inspirational to so many Black artists. To be young, gifted, and Black. We’ll carry the torch and walk and create in the spirit of Black Excellence, and pick up where you left off. In the show notes, the blog will be an ever-growing post collecting interviews and tributes to Chadwick and his legacy.

Since writing her first fantasy novel, Of Beasts & Gods, Lang has written three more manuscripts, and is now repped by the Transatlantic Agency. Ep 7: A Dedication to Black Life

This is my experimental stream of consciousness episode dedicated to Black life and all of us healing and fighting and creating. I talk about mourning Breonna Taylor, George, Floyd, Toyin Salau, Ahmaud Arbery, Elijah McClain, and the countless fallen. I also touch on creating, educating (self), and meditating on love during these hard times. Again, this one is in tribute to Black folks and hopefully a reminder to never stop living. Black Lives Matter.
